About

Social apps hand out links stuffed with tracking parameters that often refuse to preview anywhere else. Fukaha sits in the Android share sheet and fixes that in one tap, before the link reaches whoever you are sending it to.

Three ways to share

  • Clean — remove tracking and referral parameters and keep the plain link.
  • Embed — swap the host for an embed-friendly one so the destination actually renders a preview.
  • As a file — download the media through your own Cobalt instance and share it directly when a link is not good enough.

Yours to configure

Choose what happens when a link arrives: ask every time, or clean, rewrite, or download straight away. The embed host is set per network from a bundled catalog, and Fukaha quietly checks which hosts are still up so you are not handed a dead preview. Language and theme switch from the top bar.

Stays out of the way

Fukaha has no feed and nothing to browse. There are no accounts and no background sync — it reaches the network only when you share something. It appears where you already share, does its job, and disappears.

Distribution

Releases are published on GitHub, installable through Obtainium or by hand. Android ships today; the iOS share extension is still in progress.

There is also an installable web app at fukaha.shenepoy.com, running the same cleaning core offline. Install it on Android and it joins the system share sheet like the app does; media download stays app-only.

Install with Obtainium

Obtainium is a free, open-source Android installer that pulls APKs straight from a project's GitHub releases — no store account, no waiting for review, and updates arrive as soon as they ship.

  1. Install Obtainium on your Android device.
  2. Tap “Add to Obtainium” to open this app in it.
  3. Obtainium then tracks new releases and notifies you.

You can always grab the APK by hand from the project's releases page instead.
